Did you know Genya is not the only person who eats demons? Or why Inosuke wears a boar head? These questions and many others will be answered today as we talk about 38 facts you probably didn’t know about Demon Slayer.

  1. Nezuko’s Hair Transformation: Nezuko used to wear her hair pinned up before she became a demon. After her transformation, she started wearing it loose because she could no longer deal with her hair on her own, and Tanjiro didn’t have the skills to do it for her.
  2. Inosuke’s Kasugai Crow: Like every other Demon Slayer, Inosuke has a Kasugai crow that relays mission specs and other information to him. However, Inosuke’s crow tries to stay hidden as much as possible because Inosuke has tried to eat it at least 18 times.
  3. Rengoku’s Encounter with the Flute Demon: When Rengoku first became a Hashira, he faced a demon called the Flute Demon. To defend himself against the demon’s Blood Demon Art, he ruptured his own eardrums. It’s unclear whether this permanently harmed his hearing.
  4. Tanjiro’s Pen Pals: Tanjiro loves keeping in touch with others via mail. He has several pen pals, including Urokodaki, Senjuro, the courtesans from the Entertainment District, Giyu, and Tengen.
